This is also one of the reasons it took me a while to get it working the way I wanted. Unfortunately, the CLI auto format and VS Code auto format shares very little in common so will require two different setups. We'll cover how to set up auto format each time we save a file in later sections. It is definitely worth giving a shot because it will surely improve your coding skills. It is a good practice to run at least the lint check in the CI pipeline to ensure code consistency. This VS code extension will give you the ease of switching to Visual Studio, it can alter all of the shortcuts to go with those of Sublime which makes coding hassle-free. This means we could both check for linting errors and auto fix them in the terminal by running npm run lint and npm run lint:fix respectively. Notice here we are using Prettier CLI to both check linting and auto-fix linting errors. ![]()
